October 9th, 2010 PRLRC WC WXIX Premium

 SEPTEMBER 23rd and 24th brings the club's BACK-TO-BACK SPECIALTIES!   FMI  

The Show site is located at the North Stonington Agricultural Fairgrounds in North Stonington, Connecticut.  This year's Conformation Judges are Pauline Mortier (Lubberline), Anthony Allen (Allenie). Sweepstakes Judges are David Volette (Clayview) and Laura Reich (Lor-al). ♥Take some time to mingle with your fellow exhibitors and friends, by joining us for our  "BARK-B-Q PICNIC DINNER" on THURSDAY EVENING! Dinner will be followed by a fabulous dessert buffett provided by PRLRC Member chefs- all for only $20 per person!

2011 LRC NATIONAL EVENT WEEK is in the planning stages.  The dates for the 2011 National will be October 10th to 16. The 15th and 16th will be the hunt test dates.  The location is the Brooklyn Fairgrounds, Brooklyn, Connecticut.  The New England Lab clubs, LRC of Greater Boston, LRC of Pioneer Valley and Pawcatuck River LRC will be assisting the LRC in putting on this week long event. Welcome to the Pawcatuck River Labrador Retriever Club web site!

We hope to introduce you to our versatile breed within these pages.

Originally our breed was described as a  "water dog", and subsequently used for retrieving felled water and upland game birds for the hunter.The Labrador today retains the same qualities of yesterday but also has become the countries favorite companion “family” dog. Whether you are looking for a pet for your family or a hunting partner, Labradors are the perfect choice.
